At Clement’s Kindness, we are dedicated to meeting the social, emotional, and financial needs of Upstate families impacted by pediatric cancer and blood disorders.
Supporting Patients, Strengthening Families
Every child facing cancer or a serious blood disorder deserves care, comfort, and moments of normalcy in the middle of an incredibly difficult journey. At Clement’s Kindness, we focus on meeting the real, everyday needs of these children – helping ease the burden of treatment and bring a little light into a heavy season – while also supporting the family that surrounds them.
Caring for the Whole Family
From diagnosis to the end of treatment, Clement’s Kindness is there to support families by providing financial assistance, special gifts, fun family events, and meeting individual needs as necessary. Clement’s Kindness also provides funding for psychological counseling and therapy, as well as bereavement services when needed.
Partnering with Hospitals, Building the Community
Clement’s Kindness extends its impact beyond individual families by partnering with hospitals and investing in the community around us. Through support for local hospitals, contributions to spaces like the Cancer Survivors Park, and programs like Camp Courage, we help create places where children and families can heal, connect, and find moments of joy – extending kindness into every corner of the community.

Each year, 50+ children are diagnosed with cancer right here in the Upstate.

A Legacy of Kindness
Clement’s Kindness was founded in honor of Clement Haynsworth, with a simple but powerful mission: to bring comfort, support, and kindness to children facing cancer and serious blood disorders, as well as the families who walk alongside them. What began as one family’s response to a difficult journey has grown into a community effort to meet needs, and bring kindness to families across the Upstate.
